Noise was terrible... the hotel is standing right above the metro so the hotel trenbles every time the metro comes and goes, and because of the thin wall, you can hear every sound (tv, voice) of the next room. And they should have let guests know that their hotel was under construction, every morning I was woke up by the trembles of metro and terrible noise of construction work. It was shown on the web that guests are presented Paris visit pass and breakfast for students is free, but I should have choose one of which, it was not shown on the website. Also, the hot water pipe was running in the closet and the heat could not go out because I couldn't open the window as it was under construction. I don't recommend to stay there for hot days.
Good location and value for money.
Due to the hotel renovation process, it's quite uncomfortable during the daytime. The lift is very very small.
smelled very smoky even though I asked for a smoke free room
The Hotel Manager is probably the best thing about the hotel, the other desk people are less than par. The location puts you about 15-20 minutes (walking) distance from the Eiffel Tower. Also fairly close to the metro, about 1.5 blocks. Internet access is available for 6€ at a computer station in the lobby for your entire stay, fairly new computer but a french keyboard. Great is you are there for a few days and need to check life. If I come back I would stay there again.
Expect contruction on the Hotel from May until July, according to the hotel manager. While I was there they just set up scafolding on the outside but had yet to start on renovations. Their plan was to close and renovate one floor at a time.
Near Metro Station and many places to eat. Close distance to Eifel Tower.
Unfortunately the room does not have a fridge, but it was okay.
Ggo location near two metro stops charles michel and emile zola. Near to eiffel tower. Room was larger than many in paris, decent bed.
Only one lift which broke down for 24 hours, no security box.
Hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating. The location is very accessible to public transit.
It was in a good location. The breakfast was okay for 9 euros each person. The bathroom was clean, as were the sheets and towels.
The room was small, the lift was the smallest I've ever seen and the button for the ground floor was broken and you had to get out at the first floor and walk down. The room needed new carpets (didn't like walking on them without shoes) and it needed new furniture, there were no coffee and tea facilities in the room and it cost 3 euro to have one made downstairs.
Reasonable location in a quiet (unfashionable) area, hotel is functional and affordable
The hotel is located near the metro station and about 20 minutes from the Eiffel Tower!
It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed! Rooms were ok, but cleaning it was a tragedy, a maid entered the room in the morning even with the hanging sign dnd! And it isn't possible to pass the tragic behaviour actually the lack of keeping one of receptionists!!Such Rudeness I have never seen! I spoke here about receptionist what was made check-out for us!! Whether the boorish question have already paid for the hotel day before departure as the wanted to escape! During check out we asked the simple question, answer was boorishness!!When we ordering the taxi drove up 2 cars it is this receptionist (if it is possible this way to name him) he ran out behind us with the shout that we must get on to Black Taxi because too Silver he must pay!!!TRAGEDY Tragedy and one more time tragedy!! I don't recommend this hotel even in 1 %!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheap and easy to get to
nothing really...budget hotel so dont expect anything amazing.Yes you can feel the metro but you can feel the metro stood in the street so don't let that put you off.
location was the best. metro nearby, shops....minutes away from a view to Eiffel tour.
i did not like the fact I could hear metro? also the neighbours. my room was by the road and the window could not close properly so i could hear traffic and so on more than it should have been. Also the breakfast room too small!!!! either you arrive early or you have to wait for people to finish. But for 1 night it is bearable i guess...
Located within easy walking distance of three Metro Stations (Emile Zola, Charles Michaels, Dupleix), quiet
Small and dingy room, poorly fitting shower screen, thin towels, curtains barely hanging on their rails
The hotel was located very near to the Eiffel tower monument, so it was very convenient to move around
The Hotel room was very small and looked like a small store room
The location would honestly be about the only positive I could say, it is right close to the metro line, and an easy walk to the Eiffel tower. Very easy to get around Paris from this location.
My initial thoughts when arriving was "it's not too bad" then I left the lobby! I didn't believe the previous reviews about the tiny lift, but it was most certainly the smallest, room for 2 people without bags, or 1 with a suitcase! The rooms was quite small, though I have seen smaller in Europe. Though it was clean, it didnt feel clean, as it is quite run down and outdated. The maid would open our door without knocking, despite the do not disturb sign on the door, and we could hear every word our neighbors said. We were on the 3rd floor, and could hear and feel the train pass by frequently though that didn't bother us much to be honest. Not the worst hotel, but I would make a strong effort not to stay there again to be honest.
